We all know that temples have extraordinary significance in Hinduism. They worship the god as an

Tirumala Venkateswara temple:
Tirupathi is located in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh state in India. It is the second richest temple in
the world and the most visited tourist attraction. Most of the people love to visit this place because it is
located on the Venkatadri hills.
The temple wall consists of depictions of different empires like Pallavas, Cholas, Pandya, and
yadavarayas. “Brahmotsavam” is the main festival celebrated in Tirupathi which is held in the month of
September every year with full of splendor and oomph.
Ramanathaswamy temple:
Ramanathaswamy temple is located in Rameshwaram in the state of Tamilnadu. It is dedicated to the god
Shiva. There is a belief that Lord Rama prayed to Lord Shiva for the pardon of sins committed during the
Ramayana war.
Somnath and Dwarka Temple:
This temple has mainly two doors entry and exit. The entry door is called " Swarg dwar”( which is a
gateway to heaven) and the exit door is called " Moksha dwar"(which is a gateway to preservation)
This temple has many features and a flag is located on top of the temple which shows the sun and moon
and the flag is changed five times per day.
Jagannath temple:
It is located in Odisha. This temple is devoted to Lord Krishna and is one of the parts of Char Dham. The
idols of Jagannath temple are different from other temples in the country.
The idols are made up with big eyes and different complexions with a special wood called ‘Daru
Brahma’ ‘Rath Yatra’; is the main festival which is celebrated in Jagannath temple. On this festival, the
idols are taken on a ride all over the temple. Many tourists from all over the world come to see this
festival.
